After winning the competition in India at the expense of Russia, the Biho self-propelled anti-aircraft artillery system from Hanwha Corporation will be proposed to the US Armyto meet its need for a SHORAD system.

The proposed Biho 2 is a new generation anti-aircraft defense system, integrating a 30mm cannon, surface-to-air missiles and anti-tank missiles, carried by an AS21 RedBack tracked chassis, or an 8×8 chassis. It will be capable of providing effective coverage against aircraft, helicopters, rockets, missiles and drones.

The Biho showed, during tests carried out by the Indian Army, remarkable performances, particularly at high altitude, with detection and engagement capabilities within a radius of 10 km judged far superior to its Russian counterpartstested, the Tunguska and the Pantsir.
