K-FX: General Electric delivers first F414 engine for future South Korean fighter

GE Aviation announced that it delivered the first F414-400K engine to South Korea in May. A first series of 15 F414 must indeed be delivered by the end of 2021 in order to be used to propel the six prototypes of the future South Korean stealth fighter, the KF-X, whose first flight is expected for 2023.
