The delivery of fighter jets was one of the challenges of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's last European tour. And in fact, the subject has been discussed with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz as well as French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. If the latter two have already announced that they are ready to train Ukrainian crews to fly NATO aircraft, neither France nor Great Britain, any more than Germany, have F planes. -16, the latter seeming however to have the favors of Kyiv and especially of NATO to support Ukraine.
