However, it seems that KNDS has bigger ambitions for this model, which could be much more of a simple symbol. Indeed, according to a press release from the company, work to make E-MBT an operational model, starting in 2022, would continue. In addition to the basic structure with the Leclerc turret and the hull and the propulsion of the Leopard 2, the new tank will integrate many evolutions to make it a modern armored combat vehicle in its own right, and so that the sum of the two is greater than the two. its constituent parts, while retaining the power and excellent performance of the Leopard 2 and the automation and precision of the Leclerc turret.
