The aircraft manufacturer Saab has obviously not hesitated to put the means to support its communication campaign around the participation of sound Gripen E / F accompanied by GlobalEye in the competition organized by Helsinki to replace the Finnish F18s. Indeed, the Swedish group dispatched a JAS 39 Gripen as well as a GlobalEye aerial surveillance aircraft at the Kauhava air show which takes place this weekend near the city of Vaasa, on the shores of the Gulf of Bothnia.
Finnish HX competition is indeed one of the last in which the Swedish manufacturer can hope to place its new aircraft, acquired to date by Flygvapnet, the Swedish Air Force, and the Brazilian Air Force. The plane was indeed eliminated from the Swiss competition, while its chances in Indonesia as in India are generally considered very low compared to other competitors. On the other hand, in Finland, the JAS 39 enjoys an excellent image, especially in the press public opinion, failing to have completely convinced during the tests carried out by the Finnish Air Force.
