US Defense develops ballistic protection 300 times more resistant

Metamaterials continue to shift lines and certainties in many areas, especially in ballistic protection and personal armor. It is now the turn of Florida Atlantic University to announce a breakthrough in this area, thanks to the combined use of textile polymers and carbon nanotubes, to eventually achieve a personal armor that would be 300 times stronger than the best personal armor currently in use, for the same weight.
