Russian airborne forces to receive new infantry engagement armor

The concept of Terminator Infantry Engagement Armor seems to be emulating in the Russian forces. Thus the airborne forces will adapt an Epokha turret on the BMD-4 chassis of the 2S25 Sprut so as to transform the light tank initially armed with a 125 mm gun intended for anti-tank missions, into an armored vehicle much more versatile, and capable of supporting light forces in multiple environments, including urban. The Epokha turret is composed of a fully automated turret equipped with a 30 mm gun, a 7,62 mm machine gun, and two double launchers for Kornet-ER anti-tank missile, allowing to engage a large number of 'Objectives, ranging from entrenched infantry forces to heavy tanks, and helicopters and drones flying over the battlefield.
