To say that Chinese defense companies are investing in all branches of the global arms market would be an understatement. But some companies offer weapon systems for export that leave room for doubt.
Thus, the company Zhuhai Ziyan UAV[efn_note]Unmanned Aerial Vehicle or aerial drone[/efn_note], has developed an offer of light drones carrying various weapon systems, such as grenade launchers or mortar shells, and evolving in a swarm . And this weapon system is now offered for export.
Several armies already use swarm suicide drone systems. This is the case of the Israeli army which employed its Harpy 2 suicide drones to eliminate Syrian anti-aircraft defenses at the end of January, leading to the destruction of at least two Pantsir-S2 systems and an S-200 OSA battery.
The Chinese offer is, however, relatively different from these systems intended primarily to eliminate armored vehicles, carrying above all anti-personnel weapons.
