The German government has given its agreement for the delivery of 3 additional Dolphin class submarines to the Israeli Navy, a € 2 billion contract. These new submarines will be 12 meters longer than the 3 previous ones, to receive an Air Independent Propulsion module, or AIP, allowing the submarine's diving autonomy to be increased up to 3 weeks.
According to the article by navyrecognition, Israel would have nuclear vectors that could be deployed by these submarines, making them a “second strike” weapon, or, in more common terms, revenge.
Given Germany's constant and systematic procrastination regarding arms exports, it is therefore surprising that the country provides a potential strategic vector of this type
